The Echo Chamber
The Echo Chamber is an audio work made for Tai Shani’s exhibition The Spell or The Dream at Somerset House, London in August, 2025.
The Echo Chamber is an unsettling, sporadic pirate radio show where host Lou Burke interviews guests from the fringes of consensus reality. In this episode, Burke speaks with a man called Fugue, a self-proclaimed survivor of a government experiment in entangled consciousness. Lou carefully guides Fugue through his fragmented and traumatic memories. However, it’s easy to get lost inside the intensity of their experiences, and we collectively spiral through unstable internal landscapes.
